We will be going into the studios to record our next album which will be available for January 2010 (we hope no later).

What's the Mass Assembly all about...reallly?

So here we are.

You wanna know what Mass Assembly's all about.

Well, you tell us...

I mean, we are a Rock 'n' Roll band from the Big Smoke but it can't just end there. Anyone and everyone who listens to our music, comes to our shows and does whatever else they might do that relates in any way to the band is part of us. We, on the flip side, wanna be part of something greater than four guys playing music. That being said, we're not gonna put a meaningless video on a meaningless video station anytime soon, conning you into sitting through shitty commercials to watch some ridiculous lifestyle promotion. And we're not going to try to sell you anything you don't want. That's why our music is free and that's not gonna change as we grow. What we're doing is providing a platform for like minded people to express themselves on and flying it around the world in a soundtrack airship of humanity. So every time someone gains exposure through Mass Assembly, someone else is gaining a boarding pass. We can go on forever about what we want to do and how to get it done but we'd rather just do it!

D's Interview with IndieShows.net

D recently did an interview with our friends from IndieShows.net. We would like to thank Indieshows.net again for the continued support!

"When is the last time you heard true Rock N Roll? Oh, yesterday? OK. Well, that wasn’t TRUE Rock N Roll. Mass Assembly is not trying to re-invent the wheel, they are just doing what works and what sounds good. They play, what I call, true, honest to goodness Rock N Roll. I hear a lot of old influences like the Stones in a lot of their music.

Their newest hit is called “Tranquilizer” and has a more edgier/punk feel to it, which makes it my favorite MA song and probably one of the top 10 indie songs I’ve heard this year. It’s got a very catchy hook and guitar lick and so do a lot of their songs. Because of this, I don’t think these guys are going to have a hard time mass assembling anyone."

PS. You may know the leader of our Street Team. Her name is Jylane Clark. She started a little street team called the Kill Hannah Kollective which gained international exposure. It was the fastest growing street team in music history, even received radio promotions from the largest radio station in the UK, Kerrang Radio. However, she never really had the full support of the band behind her to implement this amazing ideas of how a street team should be involved. We fully support her ideas and we are excited to see how she gets you involved in being part of the band.

Mass Assembly EP songs released

We have decided to put together a short EP instead of a full album for the time being. The problem is, we have so much material, we aren't sure what we should release into the world. Therefore, until we have more time to research with our fans which songs should go on the album, we will be releasing the EP as of August 1st.

We will be offering a special for all those that purchase the EP, so watch for details.
